2Kw/3Kw Wind Turbines

Performance...
 2/3kW wind turbine
The instantaneous power production of this wind turbine is the actual power it produces at any one time.
The power produced increases as wind speed increases. This wind turbine will dump the excess power as wind speeds become too strong for power production and will eventualy shut down as the battery reaches maximum capacity or the wind exceeds preset limits.

The 2/3kW wind turbine generator is supplied with 3 composite blades, power supply cables, tail assembly and rudder plate,
battery charge controller, nose cone and fixings.
Optional:  9 meter guyed tower supplied in 3 sections (
or 8m free Standing tower in 3 sections) with flange bolts, guy cables, and foundation rods and fixing nuts.

The Turbine is available in 48V Off Grid model.
Installation...
Installing of the wind turbine is not complicated; the installation process is carried out in three basic stages.
The foundations depend on the tower type chosen and require a hole with a trench to carry power cables to the consumer.
Foundation anchors to support the tower are supplied and are set into the poured concrete base. Once set, the foundation is ready to receive the tower.
The assembly of the wind turbine is carried out on the ground. Once the turbine and tower sections are assembled the complete unit is raised to a vertical position (depending on tower type) and fixed to the foundation anchors.
The electrical connections must be made linking the turbine to the controller before raising the tower, The inverters or batteries can finally be connected.

Description...
The EW 2000 Range of Turbines are a small to mid range wind turbine for domestic
applications, ideally suited to battery charging, or use in a hybrid configuration
with solar modules.
The EW 3000kW wind turbine is a good choice for low power Grid consumers, back up
power requirements or DC power supply for remote applications.
The wind turbines are supplied with an electronic controller system which
conditions the power produced for battery storage or direct AC supply through an
inverter. These small wind turbines use a 'tail' to automatically position the turbine into
the wind and the controller will 'stall' the blades in high winds to prevent damage to the turbine.
The controller is programable to shut down the wind turbine at preset values and keeps a record of all power produced.
