This is a 5kw Off Grid system consisting of a 2kw wind turbine and 2.4kw solar. The heart of the system is a 1050Ah 48v battery system driving a Sunny Island 5048 Inverter to produce a nominal 5kw output with a surge of 8kw. The system has been over sized (1.5) so as to minimise the use of the generator.
